Frank Flanagan, professional engineer and urban planner, is the Director of Development Services for the City of Fredericton, a position he has held since 2000. Development Services includes Tourism, Heritage and Culture, Planning and Development, Parking Services and Building Inspection and By-law Enforcement. Mr. Flanagan has a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering from UNB and a Masters Degree in City Planning from the University of Manitoba. Prior to joining the City, Mr. Flanagan was the Senior Planner with ADI Consultants for 14 years and was Vice–President and Senior Planner with FGA Consultants for 14 years. He is a life Member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of New Brunswick and a Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Planners. He also serves on the Board of the Fredericton Convention Centre and the Fredericton Knowledge Park.
