We are currently looking for a full-time employee, to join our team as our Administrative Assistant. This position will be based out of Fredericton, New Brunswick. The rate of pay is $38K a year.
Position Summary:
Reporting to the Senior Accountant, this position will play an important role in being the first point of contact with our customers, general office administration as well as contributing to the administration team, for a rapidly growing business.
Accountabilities:
• Assist visitors, customers, and walk in pet food sales
• Answer phones, direct calls
• Open and distribute mail
• Receive and distribute incoming courier shipments
• Prepare outgoing courier shipments
• Order entry / invoice daily walk-in sales
• Errands, bank deposits
• Assist HR in social activities
• Maintain and order office supplies

• Some basic accounting experience

• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments simultaneously
• Strong driver of results and complex problem-solving skills
• Technology-savvy
• Understanding of Microsoft programs (WORD, EXCEL, etc.)
• Knowledge and use of E-Commerce platforms would be considered an asset
• Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment
Location: Based out of Fredericton, New Brunswick
Mobility: Must have own transportation
