Salary:
$20.00 – $23.00 per hour based on experience
Qualifications:
-Must have 3-5 years of painting, crack filling experience as a career
-Must be able to complete paint jobs within specified timelines
-Must be able to work in an environment where clientele may be present
-Spraying Experience (An asset but not required)
Requirements:
-Be bondable and take responsibility for a set of master keys
-Have a licensed vehicle available for work at all times
-Carry own tool box equipped with tools for minor repairs
-Ability to carry heavy pails of paint and work off a step ladder
Summary of Job Duties:
-Calculating the time and materials required to complete the project
-Matching paint colors and finishes
-Preparing job site
-Preparing surfaces for painting (cleaning, sanding, remove fixtures, outlet covers, etc.)
-Crack filling:
-Drywall repairs – big holes, sheetrock repairs, plaster crack, small holes
-Small new construction projects
-Plaster repairs
-Hollow door repairs
-Stipple ceiling repairs
-Priming all new or bare surfaces
-Painting:
-Edge, cut in and roll efficiently
-Apply stain and clear finishes when needed
-Clean-Up:
-Brushes and Rollers
-Floors and surfaces
-Workspace area
