Job Description
We are looking for a highly motivated Marketing Manager to join and lead our innovative marketing team in Fredericton, NB.
Reporting to the Director of Product Management, the Marketing Manager will play a critical role in leading the strategic marketing team, creating and implementing marketing initiatives, and developing impactful content to entice marketing adoption for products. This role will lead a team of creative professionals toward the objective of developing, communicating, and measuring the LuminUltra brand and product portfolio story to select high-value audiences. The ideal candidate will be collaborative and well-organized with strong project management, leadership, and time management skills.
In this role, the Marketing Manager will have key responsibilities such as:
–Develop, monitor, and be accountable for team key performance indicators (KPIs) in areas of digital, event, social media, and account-based marketing.
–Develop impactful and thought-provoking content that will entice market adoption for existing, new, and future product lines.
–Create, develop, and implement strategic marketing initiatives; work with senior management and other internal stakeholders to gain perspective and insight into product value propositions, key messages, market and geographical dynamics, and new product development.
–Direct, mentor, and prioritize projects/tasks for team members in areas of:
-Event Planning and Execution
—Manage the LuminUltra corporate event strategy, including tradeshows, conferences, webinars, and other events as needed.
—Oversee the successful organization of LuminUltra presence at all events (coordinating the marketing assets, coordinating logistics, and leading the planning meetings).
-Content Development
—Coordinate the development of marketing campaigns and product content (such as video, print, and web) to drive strategic market and customer development with a team of internal stakeholders, team resources, and external partners.
-Digital Marketing
—Determine, develop, and gain insights from existing and future digital marketing infrastructure and initiatives including tactics such as email campaigns, advertising, lead nurturing, and the LuminUltra website.
-Market and Competitor Research
—Work with key stakeholders to systemize, collect, and analyze intelligence that impacts future marketing and product initiatives.
-Internal Communications
—Manage the internal communications platform, working with stakeholders to coordinate regular content updates and posting on the platform.
Qualifications
-Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent education with a focus in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field; or equivalent combination of relevant professional experience and education.
-5+ years of hands-on experience in a marketing role, with 2+ years of demonstrated people management experience
-Project management skills – capable of overseeing multiple projects from planning, through execution, and measuring success.
-Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
-Team player – excellent communication skills to work with colleagues across other departments and external partners.
-Experience marketing highly technical products and services in a B2B environment, an asset.
-Proficient in office, design (eg. Adobe), and marketing automation (eg. Pardot, Salesforce) software platforms, an asset.
There may be some travel required for this role.
